Current panels represent LA Dodger Don Drysdale, Pittsburgh Pirate Ralph Kiner, and The All American Girls Professional Baseball League's Dottie Kamenshek, Lee Surkowski, Shirley Burkovich, Dorothy Harrell, Pauline Crawley, Thelma Eisen, and Marge Wenzell.
The paintings are reproduced as porcelain enamel panels and placed in the Legends Field wall of fame in the City of Palm Desert's Civic Center Park.
Legends Field is part of the Civic Center Interpretive Plan project done for the City of Palm Desert.
